Dear Members of the European Large Animal Diagnostic Imaging Society (ELADIS),
The board members would like to update members on what has been agreed since the meeting in Giessen last year. In order to support large animal diagnostic imaging, ELADIS plans to organise the following:
1. Have a large animal imaging session with keynote speakers and abstracts at EVDI meetings held in Europe
2. Provide individuals in training programmes or trying to enter imaging training programmes that wish to present an abstract at EVDI meetings with the opportunity to apply for a travel grant.
3. Develop the ELADIS pages of the EVDI website for posting continuing education items such as interesting cases, relevant articles and providing general information to the membership.
4. Provide input and a source of expertise in Large Animal Imaging Training for interns and residents when the Large Animal Imaging Tracking begins in the ECVDI.
In order to support these efforts, the Board has agreed an annual membership fee of 20 euros which will be used to fund large animal speakers, travel grants, and additional means of supporting meetings and other forms of continuing education. As a member you will be receiving an invoice soon for this amount.
