Residency in Large Animal Imaging - 4 year contract

Langford Vets is inviting applications for a position in our lameness and imaging service.  This person will participate in the delivery of a high-quality clinical service, focussed on equine lameness and imaging with a residency program in large animal imaging. The appointee will work with senior clinicians in lameness and imaging and play a role in developing and maximising the use of the caseload for our veterinary students. Enthusiasm for clinical service and teaching is essential. The appointee will be part of the residency team with residents in medicine and surgery within the hospital and fulfilling out of hours duties as an equal part of the resident rota.  Daytime duties will primarily be spent in lameness and imaging but rotations through the other services of medicine and surgery will be provided.  Training in all imaging modalities will be provided and the post-holder will follow the ECVDI residency program starting in July of 2021 for three years with 6 months prior and 6 months post residency spent in continuing studies in the imaging department in order to fulfil ECVDI exam requirements.
