Faculty Position in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging

The Department of Small Animal Clinical Studies, School of Veterinary Medicine at St George’s University, Grenada, WI, invites applications for a full-time or part-time faculty position in Radiology/ Diagnostic Imaging. Appointment will be made at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

The successful applicant will join an established diagnostic imaging teaching program with a 1.5 FTE clinical radiologists.

Job Description:

Teaching basic veterinary radiological anatomy and clinical imaging in the graduate programs.

Providing clinical service in radiology and ultrasonography in the Small Animal Clinic (including emergency services). 

Developing and collaborating research programs and contributing to extension and continuing education programs. St George’s University has approximately 600 DVM students.


The successful candidates will have:

• A DVM (or equivalent) degree
• Successfully completed an ACVR or ECVDI residency program
• Demonstrated teaching ability
• Well-developed skills of collaboration, relationship building and communication


Preference will be given to candidates with Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI), or candidates who are board eligible and to those experienced in a variety of diagnostic imaging modalities including ultrasound, MRI, and CT. A graduate degree is desirable but not mandatory.

Part time appointment is possible on a pro-rata basis.
