Diagnostic Imaging Specialist (ECVDI/ACVR) - Vivanima Veterinary Referral Hospital – Rouen, France
The Vivanima Veterinary Referral Hospital (Rouen, Normandy, France) is seeking a Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, ECVDI/ACVR board-certified or board-eligible. Fluency in French or willingness to improve French proficiency over time is required.
About the Hospital
Vivanima is a fully independent 2,500 m² referral centre offering:
- A stand-alone 24/7 emergency service
- 18 consultation rooms
- ICU and recovery wards
- 8 operating theatres (orthopaedics with arthroscopy and C-arm, neurosurgery, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, endoscopy, exotic pets, dentistry)
- A full in-house laboratory
- Dedicated chemotherapy, physiotherapy and rehabilitation units
- 9 separate kennel areas (ICU, recovery, dog/cat wards, chemotherapy, NAC, contagious unit, etc.)
Imaging Facilities
The Diagnostic Imaging Department includes:
- 1.5T Siemens Sempra high-field MRI
- Canon Aquilion Lightning 16/32 CT
- Two abdominal ultrasound rooms (Canon Aplio A, Esaote MyLab Class C)
- Dedicated echocardiography suite (Philips Epiq CVX 3D)
- Additional ultrasound for ER/ICU
- Two radiography rooms (GER Advance generators, Thales detectors)
- GE OEC 7700 C-arm fluoroscopy in the OR
Position Description
The successful candidate will join a growing multidisciplinary team and contribute to:
- Routine diagnostic imaging activity (CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiology, fluoroscopy)
- Clinical case management in collaboration with other services
- Development of imaging protocols and departmental growth

Candidate Requirements
- ECVDI/ACVR board-certified or board-eligible
- French language fluency or commitment to learning
