SASH Western Sydney, New South Wales has just opened its doors. This is the fourth hospital in the SASH network and the team is excited to bring gold standard veterinary care to the western region of Sydney. We will be providing a complete range of clinical services to our patients with all four of our hospitals working collaboratively together across the country. Our services include internal medicine, nephrology, neurology, surgery, oncology, radiation therapy, ophthalmology, dermatology, anaesthesia, in-house pathology, emergency and critical care, and sports medicine and rehabilitation.

The Radiologist Position:

The SASH team is looking for a radiologist to join our friendly diagnostic imaging team. Our current team consists of 5 radiologists, 2 registrars, 1 resident, 2 interns and 5 radiographers. Whilst we are looking for someone who would like to be based at SASH Western Sydney, you would also have the opportunity to work at our flagship hospital in North Ryde. Our radiology team members are crucial to the smooth operation of our hospitals and work collaboratively with every department. Our radiologists provide reporting support to the rest of the network via our centralised PACS.

This is a full-time position, however a part-time or locum position is available for the right person.

The SASH team is well resourced across our hospitals. The diagnostic modalities available at the Western Sydney site are:

  • 64-slice Siemens CT scanner
  • 1.5T Siemens Sempra MRI
  • Siemens Sequoia Ultrasound
  • Agfa digital radiography
  • Fluoroscopy

Cross-sectional modalities are staffed by one of the radiographers.

To be considered for this position, you should be a board-certified radiologist with either the American, European or Australian colleges, holding DACVR, DECVDI or FANZCVS qualifications.  Specialist qualification holders are eligible to practise in Australia.

Candidates who have completed an approved training program and are board-eligible are also strongly encouraged to apply!
