Veterinary Radiologist (ECVDI / ACVR Diplomate or Board-Eligible)
AniCura Aquivet Veterinary Hospital, a leading multidisciplinary referral center in southwest France, is seeking a Veterinary Radiologist (ECVDI or ACVR Diplomate, or board-eligible) to join and expand our Diagnostic Imaging Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped referral hospital with a collaborative team of specialists and an active referral caseload.
Aquivet is a large multidisciplinary referral hospital offering advanced services in cardiology, surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and physical rehabilitation, as well as a 24/7 emergency and intensive care unit.
The Position
The Diagnostic Imaging team currently includes two specialists and a dedicated imaging assistant, working in close collaboration with the hospital’s clinicians.
Our brand-new 2,800 m² hospital is equipped with a comprehensive range of advanced imaging technologies:
- 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner (Canon)
- 80-slice CT scanner (Canon)
- Three ultrasound systems (General Electric and Canon)
- Two digital radiography suites
- Fluoroscopy C-arm for interventional cardiology, orthopedics, and soft tissue procedures
- Olympus video-endoscopy tower
- Fully equipped in-house laboratory
A trained radiographer operates the MRI, allowing efficient workflow and maximizing imaging capacity.
The successful candidate will contribute to:
- Interpretation of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiographic studies
- Clinical collaboration with multiple specialty services
- Further development of advanced imaging services
- Potential involvement in clinical research and teaching as the hospital continues to grow.
Contract & Schedule
- Permanent position, immediate start
- Full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate’s preferences

Candidate Profile
- We are looking for a veterinarian who is:
- ECVDI or ACVR Diplomate, or board-eligible
- Enthusiastic about working in a multidisciplinary referral environment
- Interested in contributing to the growth of an advanced imaging service
- Fluent in French or willing to learn
