As part of the hospital’s opening and the continued development of the Veterinary College, UniLaSalle is seeking an experienced Veterinary Radiologist / Medical Imaging Specialist for a permanent position, based at the Mont-Saint-Aignan campus (76000, France), starting February 2026.

YOUR ROLE
As a Veterinary Radiologist / Medical Imaging Specialist, you will play a central role in the hospital’s clinical and educational missions. You will be responsible for medical imaging activities while actively contributing to the training of future veterinarians through hands-on clinical teaching.
Clinical Imaging
- Perform and interpret radiographic, ultrasound, CT, and MRI examinations for hospital patients and referral cases;
- Provide expert diagnostic support and imaging recommendations in close collaboration with clinicians and specialists within the CHEV.
Teaching & Student Supervision
- Supervise veterinary students during clinical imaging rotations, supporting them in case management and imaging procedures;
- Lead practical demonstrations and case-based discussions to strengthen diagnostic reasoning;
- Assess clinical competencies and provide regular, constructive feedback;
- Foster progressive student autonomy in a safe and supportive learning environment;
- Actively contribute to the veterinary school’s educational mission through exemplary professional conduct.
Clinical Care & Organization
- Ensure coordinated patient care from admission to discharge, in collaboration with technical and administrative teams;
- Participate in workflow optimization and continuous improvement of clinical processes and protocols.
Academic & Professional Development
- Maintain and develop clinical and teaching expertise through continuing education;
- Stay at the forefront of advances in veterinary imaging and evidence-based medicine;
- Contribute to research projects, scientific meetings, and publications in collaboration with academic teams.
A STATE-OF-THE-ART WORKING ENVIRONMENT
You will work in a 3,000 m², single-level clinical platform, specifically designed to enhance collaboration and student learning, including:
- 8 surgical suites, including specialized, emergency, NAC, dentistry, and teaching operating rooms;
- 2 radiography rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, a CT scanner, an MRI unit, an imaging preparation room, and a dedicated image reading area;
- A fully equipped NAC clinical area with consultation, surgery, hospitalization, and isolation facilities;
- A comprehensive Emergency and Intensive Care Unit, including a 65 m² ICU and dedicated imaging and surgical areas;
- Physiotherapy, laboratory, and oncology units.
Upstairs, you will enjoy modern and welcoming shared spaces: common areas, meeting rooms, offices, coworking spaces, tutorial rooms, and a 200 m² simulation-based teaching area, designed to support innovation, collaboration, and professional well-being.
YOUR PROFILE
- Veterinary degree with authorization to practice in France;
- Fluency in French;
- Proven experience in veterinary medical imaging, with independent and exclusive practice;
- ECVDI certification is highly desirable, but strong expertise in radiography, ultrasound, and CT will also be considered;
- Experience in MRI and clinical teaching is an advantage.
