About Vet’Aurelia
Vet’Aurelia is an independent veterinary hospital located in Saint-Raphaël, in the South of France, between Cannes and Saint-Tropez. Our region offers an exceptional lifestyle, with Mediterranean beaches, a mild climate, the Estérel mountains and numerous opportunities for hiking, cycling, sailing and diving.
Our hospital combines high-quality primary care with an expanding referral activity. We currently provide services in diagnostic imaging, surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology.
Our team includes experienced clinicians with advanced qualifications (CES, CEAV, DE), including an ECVS-boarded surgeon, an ECVDI-boarded radiologist, alongside veterinarians with expertise.
Vet’Aurelia is entering an important new stage of development. Our planned expansion will create an approximately 850 m² veterinary referral centre designed to accommodate additional specialists, advanced diagnostic facilities and a growing multidisciplinary caseload. We are also planning to recruit a veterinary internal medicine specialist as part of this development.
Our Diagnostic Imaging Facilities
Our current imaging equipment includes:
- A Canon CT scanner
- Three ultrasound systems
- Flat-panel digital radiography
- Endoscopy equipment
- A dedicated and growing diagnostic imaging caseload
We do not currently have an MRI scanner. However, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the design, organisation and future development of the imaging department within our new hospital project.
The Radiologist Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Veterinary Radiologist to join Vet’Aurelia and help lead the next stage of development of our diagnostic imaging service.
The position can be structured as full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate’s expectations. The radiologist will work closely with our “dream team”, providing ultrasound, CT and radiographic interpretation as well as clinical guidance on complex cases.
This is an opportunity to join an established and rapidly growing hospital while playing a meaningful role in shaping a new referral centre from its early stages.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered, you should:
- Be a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (DECVDI) or the American College of Veterinary Radiology (DACVR)
- Alternatively, have completed an approved residency programme and be eligible to sit the certifying examinations
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Value clinical excellence, communication and a supportive working environment
- Be motivated to contribute to the development of a growing imaging and referral service
International applications are welcome. The ability or willingness to work in French will be important for clinical integration, and we can discuss the practical aspects of relocating and practising in France with suitable candidates.
