The Diagnostic Imaging Service at CHV des Cordeliers is seeking at least 2 board-certified or board-eligible specialists in Diagnostic Imaging to join our dynamic, enthusiastic and expanding team.

About the CHV des Cordeliers

Location: Located in Meaux, just 35 minutes by train or 40 minutes by car from central Paris, our hospital offers the perfect balance between proximity to the capital and the quality of life of the Briard countryside. We are only 25 minutes from Disneyland Paris and Charles de Gaulle International Airport, and well-connected by train to major French and European cities.

Our Facility: We are a well-established referral hospital, nationally recognized for clinical excellence. Our spacious modern infrastructure includes:

  • 24/7 ICU and emergency unit
  • Fully equipped surgical theatres (arthroscopy, laparoscopy, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology)
  • Endoscopy and advanced imaging equipment (see below)

Our Multidisciplinary Team :

  • Diagnostic Imaging (including 1 ECVDI diplomate)
  • Surgery (including 1 ECVS diplomate & 1 French specialist, with residency programs)
  • Neurology (including 2 ECVN diplomates, with residency program)
  • Internal Medicine (including 2 ECVIM-CA diplomates, with residency programs to be started soon)
  • Cardiology (including 1 ECVIM-Cardiology diplomate), Ophthalmology (French specialist), and Exotic Animal Medicine (1 ECZM diplomate)

In total, our hospital houses a team of more than 100 individuals (vets, nurses, team support)

Imaging Department

Our Diagnostic Imaging Service is fully equipped with:

  • Two DR radiography rooms
  • Fluoroscopy
  • One ultrasound suite, with a second one planned shortly
  • 64-slice CT scanner, with a new equipment to be set very shortly
  • 1.5T MRI scanner, with image-denoising AI upgrade shortly
  • Full PACS integration and advanced viewer systems for all modalities

You will be joining a collaborative Imaging team including:

  • Experienced clinicians in diagnostic imaging (CT and US)
  • 1 radiographer/technician and 2 dedicated nurses
  • 1 rotating intern (among 12 rotating general interns, part of a recognized education program).

About you

We are looking for enthusiastic and team-oriented veterinary imaging specialists. The ideal candidates:

  • Are board-certified (ECVDI/ACVR) or board-eligible
  • Hold a veterinary degree eligible for registration in France
  • Have strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Are eager to contribute to clinical teaching and continued professional development (opening of a residency training program in Diagnostic Imaging envisioned shortly)
  • Fluency in French is a plus, but English-speaking candidates willing to learn French are warmly encouraged to apply as well.
