Nr. Potters Bar, Hertfordshire

Competitive daily rate

We invite interest for Remote or On-Site Locum Diagnostic Imaging Specialists to work regular or ad hoc days (total number of days tailored to an applicant’s individual availability) within our Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging team.

This locum could be the perfect way of adding clinical activity with follow up on cases as well as participation in clinical discussions within a large, experienced and friendly team to employment elsewhere and / or teleradiology positions. The position will be of interest to those missing the interaction of working in a large clinic.

The Locum will help with the in-house ultrasound rota, but remote locum positions to help with radiography and cross-sectional cases for some of the days will also be considered.

Duties will include helping with multidisciplinary clinical discussions, supervision of the residents’ ultrasounds and written reports, clinical reporting as well as participation in undergraduate and residents case discussions.

We are looking for candidates with a RCVS registrable degree in veterinary science and we will welcome newly trained Specialists as well as more established Specialists looking to spend some days within a large collegiate multidisciplinary veterinary team.

Interested applicants are welcome to discuss their specific requirements and availability with Professor Vicky Lipscomb (Clinical Director) email: vlipscomb@rvc.ac.uk, or Dr Francisco Llabres-Diaz: email: fllabresdiaz@rvc.ac.uk.

We promote equality of opportunity and diversity within the workplace and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
