Diagnostic imaging internship - Occitanie Veterinary Hospital, Toulouse, France

Occitanie Veterinary Hospital in Toulouse is opening a 1-year imaging intern position to be filled in September 2025 in our new hospital, in view of pursuing an ECVDI residency. The candidate will work under the supervision of two ECVDI diplomates and will be surrounded by two ECVS, one ECVIM-CA, one ECVIM-CA (Oncology) clinicians, and one ECVDI resident. A new ECVDI residency position (SA Track) will open in 2026.

The imaging department is equipped with DR, ultrasound (Canon i700), CT scan (Canon Aquilion Lightning 80 slices), 1.5T MRI (Canon Orian). Fluoroscopy will be installed in 2026. The imaging intern will be trained in the acquisition and interpretation of radiographic, ultrasound, CT and MRI examinations.

French-speaking applicants must have a veterinary degree that is registerable in France. They also must have performed a 1-year rotating internship or have a minimum of two years of professional experience in small animal practice. The willingness to perform a research project and to be involved in international scientific publications is greatly appreciated.
