We invite applications for a Fellowship in Equine Diagnostic Imaging in the Department of Clinical Science and Services. The service is integrated into the large team of specialists within RVC Equine, located in our Hawkshead Campus, a 15-minute train ride from the centre of cosmopolitan London and near a number of international airports.

The focus of the position is perfecting image acqusition skills in a variety of imaging modalities with an emphasis on radiography. The position will appeal to recent graduates wanting to improve their diagnostic image acquisition skills before going into or returning to equine practice. The position is also an ideal stepping stone for anybody interested in pursuing a residency in Large Animal Diagnostic Imaging or other specialisation in the area. The section is equipped with a 0.27T MRI (Hallmarq), a CT (GE Ultralight 16 slice for standing horses and horses under GA), a gamma camera (MIE), high end ultrasound unit (GE Vivid E9), digital radiography (Fuji DR) with a high output generator (Siemens, Polydoros) and multiple portable x-ray units (SoundEklin). A a 1.5T MRI (Philips Intera) is available for imaging of the equine head in the associated Queen Mother Hospital for Small Animals.

We are looking for candidates with a RCVS registrable degree in veterinary science. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
