Head of Diagnostic Imaging - North Downs Specialist Referrals, UK
We are looking for a Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging (RCVS, European or American board certified to lead our diagnostic imaging team which comprises specialists, a resident, an intern and three radiographers . We would give consideration to candidates wanting a full or part-time position, including a hybrid model shared with a teleradiology role.
Imaging facilities include a dedicated advanced imaging suite with Canon Vantage Elan 1.5T MRI and Aquilion Lightning 16-slice CT, and Philips Epiq 5 Ultrasound, Affinity Ultrasound, BV Endura C arm and mobile digital radiography unit and a Sound C-series static digital radiography unit. All imaging modalities are linked to a Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS).
You will be remunerated in line with other Specialist-level positions and will be eligible for other generous package incentives.

North Downs Specialist Referrals is one of the longest-established private veterinary referral practices in the UK. We have a large, varied and interesting caseload providing imaging support for over 30 Specialists in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, dentistry and dermatology. We have a significant interventional radiology caseload. We opened the NDSR Diagnostic Imaging residency program in 2022.
