Imaging Veterinary Surgeon, Medivet Hendon, London, UK

Medivet 24-hour Hendon are recruiting for an Imaging Veterinary Surgeon to join the team and manage the CT/MRI department.

This role works alongside a fellow vet and dedicated Imaging RVN. You will also have the benefit of external support, as the images are sent to our specialist team at VetCT for a full diagnostic report – an excellent learning tool to enhance your knowledge.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in advanced imaging and ultrasound and hold a certificate/PHD in imaging or be working towards one.

This role offers a competitive salary plus £10,200 accommodation allowance, vehicle or £2500 allowance, £1500 CPD allowance plus 3 days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership.

It works to a 4-day week with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends and a fair share of bank holiday cover.

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.

There is also an on-call rota which is approx. 3 weeks of the year to support our dedicated night team, if required.

Recently recognised as one of London’s best veterinary practices, you will be joining a highly experience team led by Branch Partner and Vet, Jerry Dunne, Senior Partner and Vet, Richard Leonard, plus seven other vets, a dedicated Imaging RVN, five other RVNs, six Student Nurses, two Patient Care Assistants and five Client Care Assistants.
