The Department of Veterinary Medicine seeks to recruit a Junior Clinical Veterinarian in Diagnostic Imaging (Service Intern) from Monday 1 February 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter, in order to enhance provision of the Diagnostic service and undergraduate teaching.

The role holder will to help facilitate the smooth running of the Imaging Department by undertaking image acquisition in all modalities. This is an opportunity to develop clinical skills in a well-equipped and strong academic environment.  The successful candidate will be required to participate in the practical instruction of veterinary students, and to support the training programme for Clinical Training Scholars in Diagnostic Imaging.

Candidates must be members of the RCVS or hold a degree qualifying them for membership, and have at least 2 years’ experience in companion animal practice and/or have completed a rotating internship.
