Location: Winchester, SO21.

Due to further expansion of our imaging department, we are currently seeking an ECVDI or ACVR boarded or board eligible Diagnostic Imager at our multi-disciplinary, referral-only, small animal hospital in Hampshire, UK. We are a friendly, interactive and supportive imaging team consisting of four diplomates, one board-eligible radiologist, one resident, one intern, one radiographer, and four technicians.

We see a varied caseload of unusual and interesting cases and believe in a collaborative approach to challenging patients.

Our imaging team works closely with clinicians, participating in decision making and management of cases, to provide an exceptional standard of care. We currently accept referrals in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, oncology, neurology, cardiology, dermatology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesiology and physiotherapy. Our specialist clinicians are supported by a team of highly qualified, registered veterinary nurses, nursing assistants and interns.

Hospital workflow is managed by our Anaesthesia department to facilitate smooth liaison between departments. We are a close-knit community of clinicians who enjoy working together to provide a very high standard of treatment and patient care.

We have on site MRI (Phillips 1.5T), CT (64-slice Siemens Somatom Perspective), two Ultrasound machines (GE S8 and S7), Fluoroscopy (Philips Zenition 50) and digital radiography (stationary and mobile FUJI DR systems).

To be considered for this role, candidates must be:

  • MRCVS or hold a veterinary degree registrable with the RCVS
  • ECVDI or ACVR Boarded or Board eligible
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
