Due to growth of our Diagnostic Imaging department, we are now offering an exciting opportunity to join our friendly Diagnostic Imaging Team. We are seeking an additional ECVDI or ACVR boarded or board eligible Veterinary Radiologist to join our dynamic, passionate, and supportive department comprising two full time board-certified radiologists, one board-eligible radiologist, two ECVDI residents, four radiographers, and two interns.
Reporting to: Head of Diagnostic Imaging (Andy Holdsworth)
Hours: part-time, locum or fixed term position (2-3 days per week)
Location: Hertfordshire, UK
The Diagnostic Imaging team work closely alongside specialists and residents from anaesthesia, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, physiotherapy, and soft tissue surgery. Workflow through the department is coordinated by a team of Diagnostic Supervisors, who liaise between all services to ensure that cases are scheduled appropriately and efficiently. Our specialists are supported by an exceptional and highly skilled team of veterinary nurses, veterinary interns, and patient care assistants. We value a collaborative and truly multi-disciplinary approach to deliver the exceptional standards of patient care that we strive for.

Our equipment includes: Siemens Magnetom Sempra 1.5T MRI, Siemens Somatom go.All 64-slice CT, Fujifilm computed radiography, Samsung RS80 Evo and RS85A US, and GE Fluorostar and Siemens mobile C-Arms.

To be considered for this role, candidates must be:
- ECVDI or ACVR boarded or board eligible
- MRCVS, or hold a veterinary degree registrable with the RCVS
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
