Objectives :

The objectives of the training program are to enable the knowledge, and experience in all aspects of diagnostic radiology and ultrasonography in large and small animals, and alternative imaging (computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine) and to allow the candidate to take the examination for the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Diploma.

Hospital facilities:

0,2T Vet MR Grande Esaote®, 16 slices CT GE Brivo CT 385 GE Healthcare®, 2 Affinity 50 and 1 CX-50 Philips® ultrasound machines and 1 emergency critical care ultrasound machine, VJ DR Flat Panel. PACS: 1 Dicom Server and several Dicom Workstations (Osirix®).

Qualifications:

The applicant must have a veterinary degree that is recognized in France and a minimum of 1 year internship or at least 2 years of clinical experience since graduation in private practice. Previous experience working with Small Animal and/or Equine Diagnostic Imaging is considered an advantage, as is teaching and research experience. The applicant must have a strong ambition to become a specialist in veterinary diagnostic imaging and to complete the requirements and take the examinations for the European Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.

Preference is given to applicants perfectly fluent in french and english.
