Three residency Positions in Diagnostic Imaging (two small animal biased and one large animal biased) Royal Veterinary College, London

We are offering three three-year residency positions, two small animal biased and one large animal biased, starting in July 2023.

The objective of this training programme is to give the resident the skills, knowledge and completed credential requirements necessary to sit the examination of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (Large or Small Animal Track).

Clinical training is based at the College’s referral hospitals at the Hawkshead Campus, near Potters Bar. Both the Equine Referral Hospital and the Queen Mother Hospital for Small Animals are modern and well‐equipped. As well as practical imaging acquisition and reporting, the programme includes regular imaging rounds, journal clubs, book clubs and an individual research programme. On call work is part of the clinical activity and is shared with the pool of residents. Collaboration in undergraduate teaching is part of the role.

The successful candidate is enrolled in the RVC MVetMed programme as well.
