Vetimage Diagnostic is a dynamic, private owned radiology service for small animals, co-founded by ECVDI-Radiologist.

We are looking for a motivated candidate for our ECVDI-Residency Program, running as a joint-venture with the University of Zürich, starting in January 2026.

We are a team of four ECVDI Diplomates and two board-eligible Radiologist. We are supported by a competent team of technicians and administrative personnel, including 4 anesthesia technicians.

We cooperate closely with a large first opinion and referral small animal clinic, located just next door. The clinic employs a number of affiliated specialists, including six board certified Surgeons, three European boarded Internists, three European boarded Dermatologists, one European board-eligible Cardiologist, one European board-eligible Neurologist, two European board-certified Ophthalmologists and one board certified Stomatologist, and provides a variable imaging case load. Additionally, we provide an external imaging service for veterinary practices across the country.

The program is designed as a fixed, four-year position and comprises of alternating three month blocks at Vetimage in Oberentfelden and at the University in Zürich. During this time, specialist training will be given in all relevant modalities, providing full support to fulfil the requirements of the ECVDI credentials committee.

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in general practice or completed a recognised rotating internship. Fluent spoken and written German is mandatory.
