Rotating Internship Position, Medivet, Godstone, Surrey, UK

Applications are invited from veterinary graduates for a general rotating internship.

The Internship is a one-year, non-degree program in a multidisciplinary referral practice in Surrey, UK under the guidance of experienced board-certified clinicians.

The intern will spend some time rotating through diagnostic imaging (X-ray, Ultrasound, CT and MRI), medicine, dermatology, neurology and surgery as well as out-of-hours emergency coverage on a sole charge basis to give a well-rounded exposure. The exposure to each discipline and specialist will be structured within a timetable to ensure a robust programme. 

Applicants should be eligible for membership of the RCVS and be fully registered with the RCVS prior to starting the position. Applicants will need to have confidence in preforming surgical procedures when working during sole charge OOH shifts for our emergency service (not referral). Applications should include CV and letter of intent.

The Centre currently has a surgical residency programme and are aspiring to offer further residencies in other disciplines in the future.
