Ultrasonographer

Vets Now Referrals in Manchester, England is looking to recruit an experienced small animal ultrasonographer to the multi-disciplinary referral team.

The ideal candidate would have sufficient experience and knowledge in ultrasonography including the ability to perform ultrasound-guided tissue aspiration and write comprehensive imaging reports. They must be RCVS registered. Further qualifications in diagnostic imaging such as a certificate, internship experience or diplomate status would be preferable but not essential.

The majority of the imaging caseload would be abdominal ultrasonography of emergent, acute and chronic medical and surgical patients however if the candidate has experience with radiographic, CT and fluoroscopic interpretation this would be beneficial.

All applicants should be enthusiastic and compassionate with excellent communication skills and a willingness to integrate into a dedicated and collegial team.

Vets Now Referrals in Manchester is rapidly expanding in terms of caseload, referral services and facilities. Based just outside the bustling city of Manchester and a short drive away from the scenic Peak and Lake districts, our 24/7 hospital offers orthopaedic, soft tissue, internal medicine, cardiology and emergency referrals supported by an excellent team of nurses.
